Parish Council Meeting
A meeting of Plumtree Parish Council will be held on Thursday 21st May 2015, in the Burnside Memorial Hall, starting at 6:30 pm. Please note the earlier start time for this meeting.
This meeting will be preceded by the Annual Parish Council Meeting at which the Parish Council officers (i.e. chair and vice-chair) are elected.

Notification of TWO CASUAL VACANCIES
There are two casual vacancies on the parish council. If you are interested in seeking to become a member by co-option please contact the clerk as below or any member of the council giving written details of yourself including name and address and any other organisations you may belong to.
The council will look to carry out the co-option procedure at its meeting on Thursday May 21 and expressions of interest should be made by 12 noon on that day.
About Plumtree Village
Plumtree is a small village with a population of around 200, located 5 miles (8 km) south-east of Nottingham, just off the A606 between Tollerton and Keyworth. Its population has remained fairly constant during its transition from an agricultural village to a residential one.
It features a thriving church; a popular village hall; a pub called The Griffin Inn; a premier league cricket team; and the award-winning Perkins Restaurant and Carriage Hall.
