Our councillors do not have set responsibilities but volunteer as matters arising occur. If representation is required on external local public bodies, councillors volunteer depending on availability.

Mike has lived in the village since 1998, and is married with two children. He is the managing director of a Nottingham based company, and a trustee of the Rugby Development Foundation.
He is a keen skier and a passionate supporter of Leicester Tigers.

David moved to Plumtree in 2005 after migrating north from Devon in 1985 (for the second time) and deciding to stay.
Retired from engineering, David is now kept fully occupied by his wife, Lorna, and his four lively grandchildren.
Jonnie lives on the outskirts of Plumtree with his wife, Karen (who runs the Wolds Day Nursery), and their three children.
He owns businesses in Nottingham that concentrate on the development and introduction of sustainable materials.
Adrian has lived in the village with his wife Denise since 2002. He is a Town Planner by profession and has a number of interests in various property companies.
He is a keen supporter of local cricket and is heavily involved with Plumtree Cricket Club.
Dave joined the parish council in September 2015. He is the Managing Directory of a civil engineering consultancy business and a stalwart of Plumtree Cricket Club.
Andrew moved to Plumtree in 2017 and has ties to the village going back many years. Retired from the telecommunications industry he runs several fashion businesses with his wife Pat. Interests include motor sports, sailing, skiing & clay pigeon shooting.

Mike is the Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer. He is also clerk to a number of other local Parish Councils including Normanton-on-the-Wolds, Stanton-on-the-Wolds and Widmerpool.
He holds an AQA Certificate in Local Council Administration.
