Plumtree Parish Council is pleased to be associated with Jubilee celebrations in the village.

Thursday June 2 - Choir and beacon lighting at St Mary's Church from 9.15pm.

Friday June 3 - Society Jazz Band will play at the Burnside Memorial Hall starting at 7pm.
Bring your own food/snacks and tipple for the evening. Tickets are limited to a total of 80 at a cost of £5 each.

Saturday June 4 - Loxley Saxophone Ensemble will play at St Mary's Church from 4pm-6pm. The finale will take the form of Last Night of the Proms. There will be an interval with tea and cake and a silent collection at the close in aid of Church funds.

Sunday June 5 - Village street party on Church Lane from 1pm onwards. The road will be closed to traffic from 11am to 7pm.
People are asked to bring their own food and drinks. Tables, chairs and white tablecloths will be provided and people are asked to bring items to decorate their tables red,white and blue.
Games and activities are being planned, including a children’s fancy dress competition. It is hoped to have an ice cream van attend at about 4.30pm.
