A link to the Rushcliffe Family Hub Toy Appeal poster can be viewed here.

This is a Rushcliffe based appeal for toys to be given to nominated local families who have been identified as in need of help.

St Mary's Church Plumtree, which is open everyday 9:30am-4:00pm, has agreed to be a Collection Point for people to drop off NEW unwrapped toys. This will run from Saturday October 12th until Sunday November 24th. Ideally gifts should be suitable for children aged 0 up to 5, plus older siblings up to early teens.

The aim of this Toy Appeal is to help give local children a Christmas filled with smiles and joy. The toys will be collected from St Marys on November 25th and taken to The Family Hub in Bingham to be sorted.

On December 13 and 14th nominated families will be invited to a specially decorated indoor  Christmas Market, they will be allowed to choose gifts and will be given suitable Christmas gift wrapping. All will be free of charge. The Children's Hub staff will deliver gifts to the homes of nominated families who can't travel to Bingham.

We are really hoping that Plumtree residents will support this appeal and donate a suitable toy. We are delighted to say that Plumtree School, Wolds Day Nurseries, Plumtree WI and worshippers at St Mary`s Church have all agreed to give their support.

A Christmas decorated box has been placed in the Children's Corner at St Mary's Church for you to drop in donations.

Thank you for your support.
